Alimah Program – Taught in Urdu

UPDATE: Alimah Program in Urdu will not be offered for AY 2016-17

A Free online 6 year ‘Alimah’ Program, designed to introduce women to the classical methodology of Islamic knowledge and scholarship through a modern educational approach. The philosophy of the course is distinct in its embrace of the entire academic tradition of the Ahl-al Sunnah wal-Jama’a with respect for all scholars of Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, and Usul al-fiqh. Moreover, the Alimah program highlights the importance of spiritual purification (tazkiya) and inner reform (islah).

At Zaynab Academy Online, the seat of learning is the heart that should get moist with taqwa, tazkiyah and tarbiyyah, in order for an individual to qualify as an Alimah. These can only be obtained through live interaction and company of the senior scholars and Shuyukh of our Ummah. As the course progresses, we will continually encourage students to develop their spirituality while identifying opportunities for them to do so.

Ans: Being able to comprehend and communicate in simple Urdu is enough for this course. However, if you face difficulty in understanding simple Urdu, we would recommend our English Classical Islamic Learning Program.
